The Justice Department issued a legal memo to provide guidence and clarification to federal prosecutors in states that have Medical Marijuana laws. The memo makes it clear that feberal agents will not go after anyone that is in compliance of states laws but will go after those who go beyond what is permitted by state laws. The memo advices federal state prosecutors not to waste resources on anyone who is in clear compliance of state laws.
