I believe that Europe relies on America when it comes to legalisation of weed and as I am an European and a doper, that would be the awesomest thing that could happen for me while I'm alive.
Not long ago the first president of Europe was to be elected, that president is Herman Van Rompuy, a Belgian like me and it made me think, "What if I would write a letter to our president and ask for the legalisation of weed in Europe?"
I know this is easier said than done and maybe I won't even do it but what I would want to know is what I should mention in my letter.
I know that the laws against weed came from something far more off the question than the harms it brings, it's all about the money. Big corporations and the big earners on this globe are afraid that if weed is grown in large portions, it will destroy the economy, their economy. Because the plant can be used for numbers of things like cords, textile, paper and more. One plant that does it all. And of course the government is scared 'cause it is the industry they rely on when it comes to money. Industry and consumption.

The time and money they spend on searching and jailing weed-users is time they could have spend on far more harmfull things like addictive drugs and crime. Time and money, our money, lost because of the circle of consumption.
So what is the source behind all of this?
In my opinion It's 1) those big corporations and their greed for money, 2) the government for letting the big corporations 'run' the system because of their 'need' for money and 3) us, the consumer, for knowing that their is a problem but not trying to find a solution.
I know there are people out there who try something but when people who were like-minded wanted something in the old days, they would gather and let those few see how much it means to them. Nowadays we don't get farther then our computer. Even me. I'm no leadertype, I'm no braveheart, I don't like the responsibility and I know many of us are like that but I think about the problem and that's why I posted this blog for you to think with me in solving it and hopefully find this one person who will stand up for the rest to follow.
There are things I wrote here that I think our presidents should know and even if they know that they should know that the people know it too.
If you have facts about weed (pro's and con's because i like to be realistic in this sort of thing) then you can write them down here. Please try not to get personal or think to small, the problem is worldwide! And if there is anybody else who wants to write the letter or if everyone wants to write their letter to our presidents then let me know.
